From Closed Prototype to Early Access
When we first released the initial closed prototype of Turbo Toon: Ball Racing in April, our mission was simple: test whether physics-based sphere momentum could feel intuitive on touchscreen devices.
Thanks to the incredible feedback from our initial testers throughout our first testing phases (where we introduced device-max FPS limits, camera sensitivity controls, and the solo checkpoint revival system), the core rolling mechanics were rock-solid.
Today, we are thrilled to showcase our transition into Google Play Early Access — packed with a ground-up interface redesign, an expansive cosmetic system, and dozens of new levels.
🎨 Total UI Redesign: Fresh Look & Improved Typography
Every single screen and dialog in the game has been reimagined from the ground up:
- Refreshed Flow: Brand-new Home Screen, Level Select Grid, Game HUD, Level Complete celebration, and unified Shop & Cosmetics showrooms.
- Barlow Condensed Typography: Adopted a bold, punchy condensed sans-serif font that gives menus a high-octane racing game identity.
- New Popups & Modals: Redesigned popups for Daily Streaks, Settings, Out-of-Currency alerts, and checkpoint revivals.
- Loading & Transition Sequences: Snappy new loading scenes and level start animations ensure seamless pacing between retries.

New Spheres & Particle Trails
- 12 Collectible Ball Skins: 5 Common, 4 Rare, 1 Epic, and 2 Mythic designs available to unlock with earned gems in the in-game shop.
- 4 Custom Particle Trails: Stylized rare particle effects that stream behind your ball as you hit top speed and launch off ramps.
🏆 15 Solo Campaign Levels & Daily Streaks
For players who prefer mastering obstacles at their own pace:
- 15 Hand-Crafted Solo Levels: Complete with tricky tilting platforms, moving hazards, and split-second jump pads.
- Daily Streak Progression: Log in each consecutive day to claim increasing bundles of gold, gems, and exclusive milestone skins.
- Revival Mechanic: Lost your last heart? Spend your earned in-game gold to revive right at the previous checkpoint and keep your run alive.
